Keeping a moutain lion at bay.

All of the fires have chased a new and unexpected predator down from the moutains and out to our prarie country home. My chicken coop and run are certainy not moutain lion proof. Is there anything I can do to scare it away? Scarecrows, mirrors, anything? We do have 4 large breed dogs but I'm not sure if that would scare a moutain lion away or not.

BTW it's killing horses in our surrounding area so I imagine it will only be a matter of time before the chickens and ducks lure it in.
