It is a she and she is devious. She has discovered if she pushes her nose really hard into the chicken Mash, she can force the mash through the slots and lick it off the inside.....

Yep, and NOW EMPOWERED WITH AN OPPOSABLE THUMB! No cabinet is safe. And that fridge... piece of cake. Speaking of which... It was delicious! And that foolish behavior modification device? That is now a fashion accessory. Makes a great hat.

My SS hen has started setting on eggs in the hollow tree. I have found a way to secure it. It is a pain because I have to open and close it each night, but it will only be for 20 more nights...









For the predators I have to worry about in the yard, this should work fine.....fingers crossed.
