This is 2 prefab coops, and we built a large run in between. Both of the prefabs had doors in the run that can be opened to the big run. Currently I have my main layer "mutt" flock with 1 prefab and the large run and 3 roosters in the other prefab closed off. Eventually I will have my d'uccles to breed in that side.

We also built another coop and run on the back which I use for silkies. Sorry it the mess in thus pic, it was after a hurricane

Just Google coops or chicken runs. Anything that a chicken cannot physically enter/exit without you allowing them will work
