Keeping Chicks from roosting on Water/Feed Bottles

does anyone have any suggestions on keeping my baby chicks from roosting on the water/Feed bottles? It never fails they roost on the water/feed bottles and I end up with the poop in the water (making it gross) or in the food (having to pitch some of the food).

Use a hanging feeder and cover the waterer with a funnel. You can also cover the feeder with a funnel.
