Keeping chicks straight in the incubator

If you bought some eggs and were hatching some of your own in the same incubator how do know which are which after they hatch? ( all the same breed)
you can mark the eggs but won't the chicks crawl all over and intermingle. Especially since you have to leave them till they dry.
I know the simple answer is to have 2 incubators, but what if you can't.

People use little baskets in the hatcher to keep them contained.

Ok, I didn't know you could have stuff in the besides the eggs and thermometers.
That would be plastic baskets then?
