i have no heat yet - although i do have a light in the coop for when i need it and it takes the chill off during the day (although i haven't turned it on yet - iwant them to build up t heir resistance.
I have snuck in after night and made sure that my lil banty hen and rooster are between 2 of the bigger girls on the roost... to protect them a bit
