Keeping eggs separate during hatch... any advice?

Does anyone know if ducklings jump as much as chicks do? I can see the plastic canvas mesh working to divide my drawers into quarters, but am wondering if I would then need to cover the whole drawer to keep the little buggers contained...

I do now have a few eggs that I am certain of who laid them, so when I set them it may be time to get to work on the next separation idea here...

They have it at Walmart...I bought a package for less than $2. Works well. You can build it and hold together with bread ties or a large needle to "sew" together with yarn.

Plastic canvas as separation for hatchlings sounds like a good idea........you can attach it with tiny zipties. There are small 2 1/2 to 3inch long zipties that are Very small that could be used for separation in say a Brower Top Hatch easily. I like to always use fingernail clippers to nip zipties close so no sharp end points are left after trimming the tail. & when it comes to taking the zipties off of anything I use fingernail clippers too, they're tiny & snip the ziptie of neatly without the need of scissors, even on the tightest cinched ziptie it'll take it off easily.
