keeping eggs

I was wondering how long can you keep eggs before putting them in the incubator? I have in the past always put them in as soon as I get them. Also what tempature should they be kept at until you decide to incubate them?

A search should turn up some answers but in the mean time I think you can keep them up to 10 days, but preferably not more than 7. I think room temp or a little cooler is ideal and around 50-60% humidity. This is just at the top of my head but I think it should work.
