Keeping Feed In The Truck?

For a day? My flock has enough feed for today and I was thinking about picking up feed on the way to work. I looked online and my TSC appears to be out of my #1 and #2 choices so I'll probably get a smaller bag of something to hold them over for a bit. Weather is calling for upper 70's. Would leaving the feed in the truck for an afternoon cause any harm?

If the feed bag bakes, yes it will lose nutrients.

If you park in a garage or under a tree, the truck should hopefully stay cool enough. 70 is fine, and shouldn't hurt anything.

But a truck parked in the sun... that heats up like crazy, even on a cold day.

Thanks. Some nutrient loss I can deal with. I really was not happy with the feed I got. Hopefully they'll have my preferred feed in a couple of days when I can get back down there. This will just be a solid reminder to start trying to get another bag when I'm down to half a bag.
