It's a nightmare for most people isn't it? It's taken me more than 15 years to find an exercise "regime" that a) I can easily fit in to my life and b) that I enjoy enough to make it a habit.

For me it's the exercise bike...I know I know, before you all explode with the sheer insanity of my choice I will agree that, on surface the bike seems rather boring. Indeed I have owned a few exercise bikes in the aforementioned 15 year "search" and they all ended up as expensive clothes dryers...

I actually got into the bike when I stayed at a friend's house for a few weeks. He had a bike there and I tried it out. It was a reasonable model - 'I guess you could call it semi-pro. A Reebok one. Anyway because I was under no obligation (since I hadn't paid for it) and hence no pressure to use it or perhaps because it had an on-board computer that allowed me to program in different courses (etc) I felt more interested to keep going, beat my previous times (etc). At the end of my stay my friend swapped his bike for some of my furniture I was selling and it's been with me ever since (20 months).

I'm on it before work 5 days a week - 45 minutes at a reasonable resistance level. It's great. I've lost a decent amount of weight and rather nicely I can watch 45 minutes of MY shows/movies which I never get time for throughout the remainder of my day or night

. It feels a part of my life now so much so that if I miss a day I feel strange until I "payback" my "debt"

What have you done to bring regular exercise into your life?
