Haha! I had a squirt bottle and I was squirting them through the window. Again... if I was home all the time, this would be easier. But I have teens! With busy sports schedules!!

I don't know how much of a deterrent it would be since my guineas dont seem to mind getting wet, but what about a motion activated sprinkler?

Oh, and the reflective tape..there are such things to scare birds off. I can't speak to their effectiveness as I've not used them. But I can tell you that Numi had a xylophone in her brooder. When she started going outside, she'd play with a small windchime, so I put one in her coop. I didn't think about it, it had a reflective butterfly ontop. She still loves playing w/her windchimes, but she ripped the butterfly off.

Mine don't mind the rain, but they hate being "shot" w/a stream of water.

You could try an owl decoy. It worked for our front porch. It worked for awhile on our back porch placing string about 6 inches off the ground at the entrance. They see it as a barricade.
