Keeping hens cool

Its hot hot hot out. My hens are still molting like crazy and there are feathers everywhere. They stay in their run/coop all day because we have a dog and there are hawks in the area. They have some access to shade but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to keep them cool? A couple frozen water bottles they can sit next to?

Maybe a very shallow pool of water in the shade? That way they can drink from it as well as cool their lil feet? I know my chickens occasionally like to jump into their water trough and splash around.
