Keeping my chickens from flying

I clipped two of my birds this past weekend without a problem. I did have someone hold the bird and I clipped, it was much easier that way.

Also, I used dog nail trimmers to trim the wings, ones that look like this:

Because I didn't think I had real sharp scissors. Man, they worked so good. And my girls were so sweet, they just chilled out for the procedure. The nail trimmers sniped right clean through the spine of each feather.

Just a thought.
