Maybe you could have the chicken door higher up - IF the chickens could learn to fly up and fly down to use it. It would be uncomfortable for him to climb up and then squeeze himself through their door. If he couldn't get out - you've caught him at it. You could shame him via the internet and he'd be so embarrassed he wouldn't come out in the day time.

Carotenoids / A vitamers. Egg yolk much redder. A vitamers are precursors to compounds used to direct embryonic development. Chicks / larvae more vigorous even after hatch. You can even discern young after hatch based on appearance based on what they ere fed. I have repeated so feel it is worth the effort. Really seems to make difference with older females.
