We have 3 hens and we let them free range around our yard. As they have been getting older they are coming onto the patio and pooping everywhere!!
We want to let them free range but we don’t know how to keep them off the patio.
Does anyone have any solutions?

Mine don’t come onto my patio if they know there is food somewhere. We had this problem too. I would suggest getting an automatic feeder and put it a few feet (We put ours about 5 or 6 feet) from the patio so they know the patio will not give them food. A chicken will come up there sometimes but it got them to stay off way more. Chickens main goal in life is to eat lol and they probably think there might be yummy stuff on your patio.

But as @oldhenlikesdogs said, the only thing to do to keep them permanently off your patio is to fence them out.

Our coop isn’t that far from our deck and we had similar problems. After a few surprise entrances and a bucket of water launched in their direction, they have learned quickly that it’s not their place.

Some people do an electric fence wire line around patios to stop this. It seems to work from what they say but I haven't done it myself.
