We had it at one point and I tried to stream a movie from our satellite and it told me it would take 4 days so I cancelled the internet.
:gig

I have DSL, it works fine.
Most folks have to go up by my road to get a cell signal,
sometimes even that doesn't work.

I just got a super basic laptop for a touch over $200 at Walmart. I'm trying to learn to code and my phone and tablet will NOT work for that... If I get into anything serious I will need to upgrade, but I'm using a web based tutorial that the basic machine handles fine for now and it will likely be a while before I'm off of that and onto actually coding something.

We had verizon dsl and it was super slow. We had them come check it out several times and they said that it was the best they could do.

My phone hotspot works better than any internet we could get.

I wanted to get a Chromebook or something simple because I don't need anything fancy for what I would use a computer for. Basically all I use it for is to keep track of our animals records (dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and soon it'll be quail). I'm not super picky.

That would likely work fine for you. Me, I like Windows OS and don't want to deal with Chrome's OS so I didn't go that way.

My kids have Chromebooks from school and I like how they work for the most part. I'd mess around on them, but they're monitored by the school.

The school that my husband works at gives them Macs... I hate that... I go in once a year to help with a project and I can't do a darn thing with any of the computers... lol

Doing it old school... Probably looks awful but oh well :idunnoI don't write straight :gigi just noticed that. I'm not OCD so it won't bug me

I don't track layers eggs unless it's for fertility. I might track how many I get a day or something.
A really easy way to keep track of the number of eggs laid per day is just to put tally marks on an old-school wall calendar.

I'm getting 7 eggs a day from 7 pullets/hens. I don't really keep track of eggs unless someone hasn't laid for a couple days straight.
