Keeping them cooler for 5 hours max?

Shade and water. We are a dry climate - so often times, I will dump the waterer in their run, very sandy soil, they often dig in that damp spot or I add water to where I see them dirt bathing.

But I don't ever give mine ice, just water. Cold water in very hot temperatures is not real good for a body. Just water, and plenty of it.

Shade and water are what they already have. And they're use to having icy water as 2 years ago we got up to close to 100F and most drank like crazy.
