So I moved my birds with me during a split up and the new place doesn’t have access to plug in the trough warmer for the water feeder. What can I do to keep the water from freezing in the winter. We don’t normally have below zero temps so any ideas would help! Thank you

Sorry for your troubles! :hugs

The previous post looks like a fantastic idea.

I have no true experience with water freezing, but do recall farmers using smudge pots to keep the orchards from freezing.

Honestly, I have nothing to add.. but wanted to ask which hatchery your GLW with the straight comb came from? It is known that some contract breeders keep a straight comb in their flock because breeding rose combs can decrease sperm motility after several generations.

Looks like a fun little flock! :love
