Keet Color Question

Can anyone tell me what color these two keets are?
This one has brown stripes on his head, but the stripes on the back are blue.




The one on the left with the white wings - is he Royal Purple?



I started with all coral blue and pearl grays. Last year I hatched some and one was lavender with the rest pearl gray. This year is becoming more colorful

I guess I must have some recessives.

If the back stripes in the first photo are blue (or light gray), then I think it might be Lite Blue. The one with the white wings in the second photo does look like a Royal Purple, but it's possible that it could be a Bronze. Nice color assortment, NoisyCricket! The hidden colors present in your flock are definitely connecting and coming out this year!

Second photo could be a royal purple but they have more defined markings on their heads like the keet next to it. You will have to wait and see.

Thanks! I have gotten quite a few recessives this year. I think I may even have a couple of chocolates and possibly a buff. Yesterday they hatched out a very light keet, that I think may be porcelain. These new colors are a nice surprise, especially since I wasn't planning on hatching this year. The girls had other ideas though

Just to clarify, Royal Purples do not have defined stripes on their heads. The stripes are more irregular and squiggly like those found on all of the semi-pearled varieties. The keet with the one broad stripe in the center and two thin strips on each side is a fully pearled variety, in this case a Pearl Gray. You'll still need to wait to find out if the keet is a Royal Purple or a Bronze. Those both look alike until their adult feathers grow in.
