Guinea hen was tending her ~1 day old keets in the run when tiny keets squeezed through the chicken wire and were then attacked by another adult Guinea. I rescued these two previously healthy keets who are now having trouble walking. They are recuperating safely inside but can't put any weight on his right leg. He sleeps with his legs extended to the back (like superman in flight) so I hobbled it with vet tape like for splayed leg. That's when I could tell he won't put weight on that right leg. I couldn't see any swelling, nor could I see if cause was from the hip? They are eating high protein feed and scrambled egg. They wobble to the feed and wobble back to heat. pic is a little dark but if zoom-in can see his right leg is swung to back.
