One of my three-day old keets is repeatedly "yawning." Seems to be acting ok otherwise, running around, pecking at the food. I dipped its beak in the water several times to make sure it's drinking, and it did. The "yawning" behavior has been going on for about 24 hours.

Any suggestions on possible reasons why, and what to do?

Some of my keets yawn a lot too (at different ages), so I'd say it's a normal behavior... but you want to make sure it hasn't been eating any bedding. Not sure what you are using for bedding, but sometimes the lil brats will even eat pieces of the paper towels

Feel the lower area of it's crop, does it feel like there's anything but starter feed in there when you palpate it between your fingers? If you don't think it has eaten any bedding, then as long as it's eating and drinking I wouldn't stress over it too much.
