Gotta love those dogs. My dog ate 3 in our first batch. and then all my baby ducks...We had a lot of baby ducks and needless to say it was the last draw with the dog. I have a 1502 Sportsman from GQF. It was something I never thought I would buy but it has saved me from so much frusteration of losing entire hatches. I will probably never make up for the cost but my stress level has gone down incredibly.
and that is worth all the money on the planet to me. I have had eggs that are three weeks old hatch out. I haven't tried duck in this incubator but my chicks hatch like crazy and I am going to try turkey soon.
