I was so proud, I had hatched ten keets on my own after loosing my three full grown guineas after they got caught by a predictor. I kept them inside my home until they were about three or four weeks. Then I moved them to a outdoor baby pen: it's up off the ground.. they were so excided.. After a week or two I let them out to the ground so they could walk around and go under the pen: it's fenced in. They would go back in the upper part of the pen at night on their own. They had food, water, heat.. Everything looked good both times.
Was doing great, playing, eating, drinking, warm, safe, no stress.. hours later, dead.
systems:
healthy
paralyses, head strengthening and bending different ways
possible seizures

thought.. one night I had to come out to the outdoor baby pen. I noticed like never before, tons of slugs. I think they eat chicken poop. I have notice an upbeat of slugs in my garden when I put out chicken poop.. could it be from a parasite from the slugs.
After I lost those ten I cleaned out the pen, including the ground and then left it, no use for three months. Later, recently actually, I got a few more guineas and crossing my figures. I hadn't thought of or seen the slugs this time, until now. They were a couple of weeks old. did fine, left them in the pen a week then let them out on the ground. They did fine for the first few weeks. Then a few days ago I started loosing them, but not just them but some of my peeps I had hatched and raised with the guineas since they came home. I only have one guinia left, the runt, smiles.. I have lost some of my more fragile peeps.
