Kelp for chickens

I would like to start offering kelp to my chickens. Does anybody know where to get it?

I buy mine from the feed store. Kelp meal $73 per 50 lb bag is what it used to be, and it lasts a very long time.

Offer it at 1-2% of the total feed. No more than that.

Check out North American Kelp online. Good prices, good product. Depending on where you live, the cost with shipping is pretty reasonable.

I use the North American Kelp for the hens, the goats, the horses, the dogs and even myself! I am lucky to live in Maine so i can just scoot over to the town they are in and buy it from the hardware/feed store.

I mix it in with the crumbles.

I know this is an old thread but I want to start giving my hens and goats kelp and I was wondering if I bought the north American kelp would it be safe for my dogs too? thanks!
