Kentucky Chicken and Peafowl traders HERE!

Shepherdsville Stockyards at hwy 61 and 480 do auctions every Sat at noon....

From about 6am - Noon outside the stockyard they have folks selling fowl, rabbits, birds, etc.... in the summer they have fruit/veggie stands....

There is another livestock auction house in Russell Springs (does cattle and pigs), and one in Glasgow (also cattle and pigs), but those aren't really Western KY. Not sure if either of them do poultry - I've yet to get to either one of them, but I plan on going soon.

Mayfield Auction Barn in Mayfield, KY has a poultry/small animal auction Wed. mornings. They auction cattle, goats and sheep after 12 pm. I've never seen pigs there.
Christian County Livestock in Hopkinsville, KY sells cattle & goats at 12 pm on Wed. Sometimes, you can get bottle calves for $10.00-20.00.
