KerPlop egg pic

Wow I went out to take a pic of the girls today and caught speckles in the nest. Just as i was getting my camera ready she lifted her backside and kerplop out came this beautiful green egg!! It was wet and dried quickly. She rolled it under her and was going to set on it but i grabbed it!! I caught her laying the egg on my cell camera:

Hi Tri ,actually I did try to send a pic, it didnt work??? then somehow got an edit with a smiley!! Im not sure what happened but maybe i can try the pic again. somebody yesterday said they couldnt post a pic because they hadnt been a member long enough, maybe that is my problem too. I wont mention the fact that I have issues when it comes to the puter!

I have been "fortunate" (my kids think it's really disgusting) enough to "catch" an egg twice. I opened up the door to the coop which is next to the nest box, found a hen in it with a faraway look in her eye and kind of standing and bearing down. Stuck my hand under and "kerplop" an egg in my hand!
