My daughter wanted Recycled Percussion to win.
I really expected Lawrence to be in the top 3!

Barbara has a beautiful voice, but I could see how Kevin Skinner would appeal to more people. He's the ultimate underdog!

Personally, I don't think he should have won. Granted, he needs the money, but there were better singers canned after the first round. Don't get me wrong... I like him, and yes, he could use the money, but I'm really surprised he made it to top spot.
On the flip side, I'm willing to bet that there were agents standing on the sidelines ready to sign on all of the remaining 9 acts so they're going to do well despite not winning. The show was the perfect exposure for them. I just don't think that his talent rated as first. I would make a trip to Vegas to see most of the final 10, but I don't know if I could do even one hour of his singing.

Wow, i'm a bit surprised. We taped it and tried to watch it last night, but our dvr kept messing up and my husband got frustrated and turned it off.

i agree with Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain, though. Every one of them has a bright future ahead of them.

One of the acts I really liked left early on. We really liked Grandma Lee, and I was not happy that she didn't make it further than the top 5. I'd go to Vegas to see an hour of her!!!
