Hello,
I’ve kept and bred Khaki Campbell ducks on a very small scale the last few years.
My flock had got to the point where they were all different ages, so I’ve sold all but 2 (a Khaki drake hatched this year and a crested duck of unknown breed, but who is an amazing broody).
I’m planning on getting some more POL hens before spring, so I can continue hatching out ducklings.
I’m quite keen to get some Cherry Valley ducks for a change, and they’re slightly easier to find.
Does anyone know what colours the ducklings would be with a Khaki Campbell drake crossed with Cherry Valley hens?
Many thanks

Cherry Valley is a white duck, right? Then it could have genetics for any color, so there is no guarantee with the offspring.

In America, most pekins (a white duck) are either black-bibbed or mallard-colored under the white. A black-bibbed duck with a khaki drake will give you black-bibbed males and chocolate-bibbed females. A mallard-colored duck with a khaki drake will give you mallard-colored males and chocolate mallard females.

Great thanks very much!
