Khaki Campbell duck or drake??

I guess it’s good I already have a home for it then Too bad tho. He’s extremely social and would probably have been a good friend for my other but I’m not building a separate coop for just two ducks nor putting my existing gal through the romances of an excited drake. My duck would miss goosing the hens too much too

I found this pretty clear.

His quack is in between the two. Definitely not as vocal as my other duck but not the quiet drake as in most of the videos. With the penciling on the feathers it just made me question gender a little more. My daughter thinks we should call him Z because of the gender neutrality appearance

i would get another girl, keeping just one duck isn’t good

He is definitely a drake. All males molt into Eclipse plumage after the breeding season. It looks similar to female plumage and gives them better camouflage.

He's a very handsome drake with that hood marking !
