I have a Khaki Campbell duck (10 months old) and she was laying an egg every day until December 8th. She went through a molt (wasn't pretty) but that was over two weeks ago and she back to looking pretty and vibrant. However there is still no eggs.
My chickens are back in the grove of things and are laying eggs (they too went through a molt).
Does the cold affect the ducks more than chickens?
Or are they more sensitive to daylight time?

I miss my duck egg omelet in the mornings

It can take a month or more for them to start laying again after a hard molt.. I'd say it won't be long till you'll be back eating omlets again...

Mine are more dependent on heat than light. Mine quit laying even with light. I then exchanged the light for a heat lamp and they are back at it.
