Are they more efficient in converting feed to eggs than chickens?

Should we expect them to eat significantly more/less?

ducks need food and water available 24/7 and will eat throughout the day, 2 cups a day per duck is the average amount they eat but they should be allowed as much as they want

Its hard to sell duck eggs because they are so much larger, people think they are paying $8 and only getting 12 eggs but in reality they are getting much more egg then a dozen chicken eggs.

According to tyrant farms and Dave holderread ducks should be more efficient than chickens.

“yard scratching none” lmao mine have dug up so much of our yard
Wow! You must've had a lot of bugs and worms in the ground, our drake runs around all day finding wet spots on the ground and then he plows his bill into it and probes til he pulls out gigantic grubs.

I raise a large group of pekins every year. I have also had a smaller group of ducks for the past several years. I have 12 acres of pasture with a creek. The ducks will be able to free range during the day once I am home from work.
