Hello! We have 6 khaki cambells (maybe 5, the one had a lighter bill and feet when we got them at a week old, so I wasn't sure what breed they are for sure) They are 5 and a half weeks old. Wondering if anyone would have any guesses on their gender, or if it is way too early.

Please don't hate me but I think you have 5 boys and 1 girl. The lighter one, second to last, in the last big picture is a female. With Khaki Campbells, the males get solid, dark feathers above the tail and females get lighter, two-toned feathers. Here is a picture of my ducks about that age.

It is hard to see all your ducks in the pictures so I may be wrong on one or two of them. But, you still have way too many drakes to hens and will need to start figuring out what to do. Please let us know how the genders turn out.

At this stage voice sexing will be your best at knowing. Males are quieter whereas the hens have this loud what I call a “honk”. They are still young yet though so they might not have found their voices either. About 10 weeks is when they should have their drake vs hen quack. If you YouTube it it’s really easy to be able to tell the different. If not wait until they get their adult feathers. Drakes will have the curl by their tail. Also they should have a darker head
