Khaki Campbell or Chocolate Runner?

http://www.metzerfarms.com/KhakiCampbellDucks.cfm?Breed=Khaki Campbell&BirdType=Duck&ID=KC make me think of KC's, they are adorable, please watch them closely at such a small age they could be snatched up by just about anything, on the ground and flying. and

P.S. Thanks for the raising caring link, good info. I didn't realize they could do well in such a small space like a cottage cheese container, much better idea than a cardboard box that I had them in their first night, which is why I switched them to a pet crate, so far so good.

I am probably just tired, but this looked to me like you are writing about using a cottage cheese container as a brooder.

JosieR: Two of mine from TSC were supposed to be Khaki Campbells and they even looked nearly identical for the 1st few weeks. By week 3 or 4 it became pretty clear one was a KC and the other a Runner.

They are nearly 10 weeks now and out of a Cayuga, Welsh Harlequin, Khaki Campbell and Runner, my Cayuga is the most skittish and not nearly as outgoing as the others. The KC is a bold little demon (he threatened our 13 year old Basset Hound a few days ago). But even though he is a daring little felon he (or she) is pretty sweet and still eats from my hand

Bettythegreat: The cottage cheese container is used as a water dish suggestion, not a container to house your ducklings.

I'm 99% sure now that they are khaki campbells, helps that I got a couple ducklings of other breeds, swedish and one yellow unknown, they stand the same but not strait up the way ya'll described, they just look tall when stretching or are trying to see over something. Now to figure out what this yellow duckling is, when I bought her the 'expert' manager said it was a hybrid 300, but after looking around online that breed is supposed to be either black or brown, so it is more likely a white layer or pekin?

Time for some new pictures soon, they've grown so much since I took these about a week ago, they completely fill up the bird bath now when they want to all get their feet wet at the same time.
