I have 17 KCs, they are, mmm, days shy of 7 wks old. They range in a huge electranet with pekins of similar age. We've noticed that there are 2 ducks that continually harrassment and grab the breast feathers of 2 other ducks and run them through the field. Some are missing feathers from the harassment. Is this sexual maturity, male v. female or just ducks being ********. I can't see a real difference in coloration. the smaller of the 2 is the aggressor it appears, I cannot tell any other distinguishing characteristics.

It could be Drakes acting up?....It could be caused from over crowding?.....Not sure really?....I have never encountered Ducks that young behaving that way....Possibly need more protein..?

Best wishes...:)
