My single Duckling had me. But also had a stuffed dog that she loved. She loved it so much that I had to let her have it in the coop with her for a while when we were trying to integrate her when she got old enough. She would scream without it. So stuffies work really well XD

My Dougie had a teddy when he was a few days old, I took it away when he had his sister, since he never bothered with it much... Now they're big silly teens and think the teddy is the most evil think ever, I got them to conquer their fear yesterday, and they were playing with it nicely. Then I showed it to them a while later and they puffed up and hissed at it. Ducks are so dramatic I swear
