Khaki Campbell

I ordered strait run khaki campbells and they are 10 days old now and a few of them are getting a white looking ring around there neck. Does this mean they are boys at such a young age? I would love to hear your experiences with Khaki Campbells and when you knew if they were male or female...

Khaki Campbell ducks should not get a white ring around their necks. You won't really be able to tell the boys from the girls until they are 10-12 weeks old.

Check out http://community-2.webtv.net/saraarmstrong/EggDucklingHelp/ It talks about sexing by the bean on the end of their bill. It was dead on for my Campbells.

My male campbell had fur on his legs from birth. Not sure if that's normal or not.
