Khaki Campbells Gender?

cheezenkwackers - thanks for the info! Did you see my original post with pics? Would you be able to identify gender based on the pics from June 23?

I know one is clearly a male now. The other one - probably a male, although different coloring. They are same age.

Dave Murphy - I think Pekins have orange bills. Maybe the white duck is a still a khaki...maybe mixed with another breed?

If your pictures from June 23 are the same two ducks in several pictures, I would say two boys. For sure the second picture is a male and the last picture looks like two males.
BTW there are white Campbells.

Thanks cheezenkwackers!

I have my learning hat on...before the drake curl, how would you tell the gender early on, on a white Campbell?

Hi
I have a Khaki and a Welsh Harlequin and daily change my mind on the sex of them both (based on numerous sites for research), apart from vent sexing which I don't fancy doing can anybody shed some light on what sex these are. They are both 11/12 weeks old, this was taken about 2 weeks ago, the one on the left is the Khaki and the right is the Harlequin.
I noticed blue colouring on the wings on the Khaki today if that helps.
Thanks in advance

Um, I don't have any white Campbells, but I would think the most definite would be if it quacks. Only girls ever quack and young girls go through voice changes sort of like adolescent boys. It sounds like their voices get lower and make weird sounds all of the sudden. Kind of like a honk or fart sound that sneaks out. If you have several the same age and you know for sure that some are girls or boys, you could compare their abdomens. The shape and length of the genders are a little different. Strong jaw shape and larger head size leans toward a male but one of my girls has a really pretty strong head shape. I am no expert, I just spend a lot of time observing my ducks. Hope that helps.

I would say the Khaki is a boy and the Welsh Harlequin is a girl :)! I am basing that on what looks like pencilling on her feathers. She seems dark for a Welsh Harlequin female though?! I only have Khakis but they start out dark when they are young and fade in the sunlight.
