Just a curious thing I've noticed... 2 of our 16 Khaki Campbell ducklings have yellow necks. The rest are the color they are "supposed" to be. Is this unusual for Khaki's? And is it possible that the hatchery mixed them w/something else? Just want to know, it won't matter much in the end as we've fallen in love w/these two and they aren't going anywhere. lol

All 3 are the same duckling as the other one was sleeping, lol. But they both look like this... any ideas?

Can you get pics? Some of mine are lighter under their necks, having kind of a dark creamy yellow look, kind of washed out with the normal Kahki duckling coloring.

Yep, I'll get some pics tomorrow and read up on posting them. Suppose it's time to learn how anyway. lol

Thanks for your answers everyone!!!

Yeah, those are much bolder than the color on mine. Still look very much like Kahkis though! Cute ducks!

Does that mean that females of cayugas hatch out black and white and the boys hatch out all black?
