Yes! That one. I was stuck on Patreon, which i guess is kinda similar, but not what i was trying to think of.

I would almost certainly be down to save and send money towards potential breeds i was interested in if it meant i could get a discount in return for the end results.

Yeah it’d be interesting to be like an investor in the startup costs with first dibs on a waitlist for goslings. Before Covid Apricot Valley Waterfowl Preservation would come to the states for poultry shows to do sales, I wonder if they would be open to adding them as a breed for conservation.

It probably would help coming from someone Not on a dry ice route. Once they found that out, my emails stopped seeming to be recieved.

But then they changed their policies so maybe they'll start getting them again

They're specific routes that dry ice is shipped on. The route from my P.O. to theirs is one. If chicks and dry ice show up at the same time, the ice is sent ahead and the chicka habe to wait until the next truck going there is avaliable

Yeah. A few years ago greenfire flat out would not ship to zip codes that would be dry ice routes. Now they will but they don't have any guarantee on survival. So you could spend 600 dollars on chicks and not wind up with anything but minus 600 dollars if they didn't make it.

Ok so if you watch thous videos and look deep at the pictures there are 2 breeds in the US that could produce a similar goose after a few generations of breeding. Then you could work with APA to work it into the registry after years of showing. By looking at all the photos You can see the White African Goose and then some with lack of nob and then take the large Toulouse. Just my crazy thoughts.
