I had to chuckle about DW's comment, lol yes I am sure it was priceless, and I'm sure my parents and great parents got a good chuckle watching me attempt that rooster rustling! To each of you, thank you very much for the wonderful welcoming

it.
I am enjoying my new little flock of gorgeous girls...I call them my girls :) They are developing very nice personalities, and to me aside of the dog being mans best friend, chickens are womans best friend *woot* !
Their no longer little peeps, and are as white as snow. I should say whiter than snow because here in PA, the snow can look pretty grungy. ( no snow yet this season)
So anyway, between my full time job, and my 3 wonderful kids, and my grandson....life is very busy. My girls bring a sense of calming when I get home, and are such a stress reliever. They make me laugh, and they welcome me when I pull in the drive. Amazing! I knew I'd love being a chicken lady lol !

Thank you! I read your Icon ....ahahahahaha, good one I love it! (Cayugalover)

Hello BYC family :)

Please excuse me while I still learn how to maneuver around here with posting. Some of my friends think I have lots my nuts, and bolts being so crazy in love with my hens. Well, they'll be crazy in love with me when they start getting farm fresh eggs! I have been spending a lot of time researching the poultry, and egg business. I needed to find out what the Pennsylvania laws are pertaining to fresh egg sales from private entities such as myself. Quite interesting to say the least. One thing I can say is that chicken farming is the gift that keeps on giving :) Gotta luv chickens!
