Jessie led Kat to a massive open-air courtyard with an incredible amount of testing equipment ranging from huge computers to manikins to animals and everything inbetween. There was a huge dome-shaped cage high above them that covered the whole courtyard and kept the subjects from climbing or flying away. Dirk came outside just behind them. Jessie walked up to a man with shaggy brown hair, opaline green eyes, and a white labcoat that was about 2 sizes too big. Jessie turned and said "Kat, this is Dr. Michael Conners. He's the head scientist in charge of the testing programs here at what we call 'camp half-blood.' Just listen to him and he'll let you know what to do." With that, Jessie stretched out her wings and took off to go start her daily testing routine with Dirk close behind her. Dr. Conners politely asked "Miss Kat, if you would please follow me, we can begin the first stage of your initial testing." He motioned for her to follow him towards an area with a sign reading "Newcomers."
