The man continued towards Selena, and reached to put the cuffs on her.
(Have her lash out, just out of panick. Mermiads have super-strength so she could try to just shove him away and then he goes crashing through the opposite wall or something)

Suddenly, Kat's door blew open with a crash. A few commandos burst into the room. "Freeze!" one yelled.
(Kat and Kovon should both fight some, out of desperation, and then Kat will end up still getting captured. just to add to the fun)
