I caught a great photo of my 2 year old feeding "Ethyl" my buff orp some clover.

That's darling! I'm afraid to let my granddaughter near the chickens for fear she'll get pecked. (But I've got roosters running around too.) I have one friendly yet agressive hen who will peck you HARD because she wants you to pick her up. That would surely make my little Lucy cry.....So I only let her near the bantams or the chicks......

Oh, how sweet! When my son has a stressful day, he finds that the chickens will center him, helping him to relax. Who knew chickens would be so theraputic?
