I have children, and I've taken them to a variety of restaurants. I expect them to behave. I have to agree with WoW, its the adults who annoy me. If a kid is running around, shouting, touching other people's tables (this one particularly bugs me), climbing on things and generally acting like a hooligan, it is because some adult thinks it is okay.
It is not cute when your child acts like an un-mannered lout.

Your cell phone conversation is not more important than your children's behavior.
