Kids in restaurants...

Definitely depends on the restaurant, the kid, and the age. I'm still a teenager myself, but it is common sense to not take a small child into a fancy restaurant. Same with movies in a theater too — we go out for movies once in a while, and it's a big special thing. A toddler kicking at your seat and talking loudly definitely diminishes that.

Ours is a new(3ed season) multi million dollar 2 screen theater. http://www.wildernesstheater.com/

There
is also a smaller one about an hour away that is only a few years old.... They are making a comeback.

The smaller one was built by a farmer.
He uses a small barn as a consesion stand an projects out of the hay loft. The screen is made out of torn down tin barn roof. The whole thing is in a empty cow pasture in the middle of nowhere Al. If I had to guess I would think he has about $5K in the whole thing. He charges $8 a car to watch 2 movies a night.
