Headbands? Like these from Amazon? They just might do the trick ... I hadn't thought about using those!

I'm all about the bandanas.... As long as they are cotton and folded in half for the double layer effect.
I have paisleys, moustaches, cookie monster, elmo, Scooby-Doo, tie-dye, doggy stuff, the union jack-esque, mickey mouse, pirate flag and desert camo..... Those I can easily recall.... But, I have several more.

The mind alone can cure far more things than people realize. If this wasn't true, placebos would not work and they do work.
I thought that was so interesting in Psych how they did placebos and people got better lol.
Mom's have known about placebos for generations - a kiss from Mama makes a booboo all better!
The body and mind is definitely an amazing thing!!!

Just found this article which I thought was really interesting!!!

I dont sew well and I had an awful time of it learning. That is for most things actually. What I meant was that if I can learn to sew as bad as I am at domesticated stuff anyone can if that makes sense. I don't necessarily have talents either...
Some people no matter how hard they try cannot do certain things. I know what I can do, I know what I can't do. The things that I cannot do, I will never be able to do no matter how much effort that I put into it. What someone can or can't do is different for each individual.

I am sure I could sew if I had an in person teacher.
I can not (I probably could but I refuse to) learn from YouTube.

I know I can...I did in school. I just have issues with my sewing machine and I don't want to take the time to learn it.

What’s wrong with learning from YouTube?

I grew up in an environment where you were more criticized for the things you couldnt do than praised for the things you could do. Thus inferiority, low self-esteem, etc. resulted. I treasured each compliment like it was a delicious piece of chocolate, rolling it around in my mind for a long while afterwards. It has been a huge struggle for me to overcome the problems of my childhood, but has definitely given me a desire to honestly compliment others where it is due and to notice others talents and mention them. I may not have many, but the few I do have is a gift and I need to accept that.
