Put gas in stuff right at daylight I was one of a few at the pumps. Passed the same place 30min ago and each pump was about 5 cars deep. No need to go out for anything else during the pre storm chaos
Chickens are fine. May have a few less feathers after the event lol
my news said the hurricane people update the tracks at 10 am, 4 pm, 10 pm, and 4 am everyday.
I never knew this.
Anyways I think they said it depends on where Laura is at the next two updates on whether we have to worry here. I don't think Marco will be powerful enough to hurt us...but who knows.

Yeah they can give you an idea but no one knows till it hits.

Lots of people bring their dogs into the stores here... not the food stores, but pretty much everywhere else, it seems. The store management are probably afraid of offending people, but I think it's a no win. Some people are afraid of the larger dogs, or allergic to dogs, so I wouldn't do it myself. It doesn't bother me personally when peeps bring in their dogs, but I wouldn't do it aside from a bonafide, trained, official-harness-wearing service dog.
Exactly! I used to be super allergic to dogs and I couldn't really go in pet stores with all the dogs. Otherwise I would start sneezing a bunch. Both my dogs are hypoallergenic though.
I would never bring a rambunctious, say, golden retriever into a store other than petsmart or home depot.

Funny observation regarding pets at stores. It seems that aside from service animals, only the best behaved and best cared for dogs & rare occasionally others are all I have seen/met in Lowe's, PetSmart, Grocery's etal over the last 20+ years all over this nation(literally).

There's a guy here local that comes into Food Lion with his malti-poo-whatever thing on his shoulder.

It looks absolutely ridiculous and the poor pup always looks like it would rather be in actual hell.
How do you put a dog on your shoulder? Or is this not a dog but a bird?
