You say that now....but remember that less than two months ago Kiki was adamantly claiming that she does not and will not ever incubate anything except maybe quail

We had an unexpected frost last night so it was a race to the barn with heat lamps

Question for you lovely people...i have 1 straggler duck egg still in incubator and wasn't due to Hatch until tomorrow well it has already internally pipped and is peeping is 1 day early normal? And how long you think I have till Hatch roughly? Ok that's 2 questions sorry

I think one day early is pretty common. Some of my broody eggs started pipping on day 19!

I would guess one day early means you counted wrong or your temp was on the high side?
Perfectly normal to me!
I have no idea how long it will take to hatch.
