I'm good for cooking, hugs, fainting, bird handling, and little else.
Seriously -- I'm so naive and brainless that Spook -- friendly Spook -- can take advantage of me and sneak into the house as I go through the door.
I'm already being taken advantage of by a male! And he's not even human -- he's a stupid guinea!
I'm not really upset. The first paragraph, though, is true, as is the comment about Spook sneaking in through the door after me.

Not a bad list of skills.

I would fail my mom's list of required skills. The three important skills to her were cooking, cleaning, and finances. I do two of the three well.

yeeeee I just ordered 14 pullets to add to my layer flock!!! They come Aug 1st. Good thing the new barn is 75% done! Ideal poultry's minimum and shipping is so awesome! I got like 6 different breeds, some only one bird, and shipped the 14 girls come to 63 bucks. Yayayayay

I have a barred rock and a black australorp. I love them. My australorp is raising 4 adopted chicks for me, and she's a great mom.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I love my barnyard mutts. But I am excited to get some pure breeds and really observe their differences to decide what I may want to work with breeding in the future. They are all so beautiful, why choose one!! And all the breeds on that list(except the buff orpington) lay upwards of 208 eggs a year. Amazing!
