Algebra is child's play.

I loved algebra...although my teacher was the most gracious lady...letting me call her at her house when I needed help. Writing came easy for me...although I didnt like it.

Amen!!! And that even when they get a tutor they work hard at it...they dont expect the tutor to do all the work. I had one for ACT math...

I had to buy several books to prep for the GRE because I had forgotten all my high school math. But I studied hard and did well

Nah, the really dumb ones are the ones failing and still not asking for any help. I respect those that at least try to do better.

You can go much farther with determination and grit than just natural academic ability.
You'll also be less of an insufferable smart*ss, which is nice.

I agree. And you know we cant all be good at something...one may be good at math, but perhaps they cant compassionately clean up someone who has just pooped themself. And that's not a bad thing either...but we can all find our niche and use it to our ability.

Weeeell I am in so social sciences so I didn’t need to ace that section, just pass with a somewhat respectable score. Which I did. And then promptly forgot it all again
